It works well enough most of the time, but I do notice small lags here and there. At first I kind of brushed it off, but after it happened a few times, it started to make me trust it a bit less.

I was surprised by how simple it was to get ShipStation set up. The onboarding steps were clear, and I had my store connected quickly. I did run into one small question, but support got back to me fast and helped me sort it out. Overall, it was a smooth experience.

I mainly use ShipStation for shipping labels, and for the way I work, it keeps things really simple. I just pull up the order, compare the rate, and print the label. It feels like it cuts out a bunch of the extra clicking I used to deal with, which makes packing orders feel a lot less tedious.

But they got back to me quickly, and it actually felt like they read what I wrote. I’ve been happy with ShipStation, especially recently. Labels have been loading fast, orders are syncing the way they’re supposed to, and I haven’t had to think about it much, which is exactly what I want. I can’t remember running into any real problems lately, so right now it feels really dependable for our day-to-day shipping.

I thought it might be a whole thing, but—actually, it was easy enough to cancel my subscription. Support got back to me quickly too, so no complaints there.

I’ve been using shipstation for returns in my shop and it’s made that whole part way less of a headache. Making labels is quick, the tracking is easy enough to follow, and customers aren’t constantly messaging me asking where it is or what’s happening. It just kind of takes care of that stuff better than before, so yeah, I’m happy with it.

For what I’m paying, ShipStation has been worth it for my small shop. I used to make shipping labels one at a time, which got old fast, so the time it saves me kind of makes the monthly cost feel reasonable. The plans were easy to understand too, and I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into a bunch of add-ons or anything. It’s not flawless, but for the price and what I need right now, I’m happy with it. I mean, if my shop grows a lot maybe I’d rethink things, but for now...

"Decent rates, but not always the best deal"
In my experience, the rates are okay, but I wouldn’t say they’re always the cheapest. Sometimes it works out fine, but I’ve also found better prices through Pirate Ship or by going directly through the carrier. It’s easy enough to use, so I don’t mind checking it, but for me it’s not always the most worthwhile option

I mainly use ShipStation for the tracking emails and text updates, they actually go out when they’re supposed to. It’s kind of funny that this feels worth mentioning, but with some other tools you’re left wondering if the customer ever got anything. Since using it, I don’t get nearly as many “where’s my package?” messages. Setup was easy too. Nothing flashy, but it does what I need.

I’ve been using shipstation to pull in my Etsy, eBay, and Amazon orders, and overall it’s been reliable. Most of the time everything shows up quickly, which is a huge help because I’m not constantly bouncing between different tabs.
Getting it set up wasn’t too bad, although a few settings were kind of tucked away and took me a minute to find. Once I got through that, it mostly just ran in the background the way I hoped it would.
I’m giving it 4 stars because every now and then an order takes longer to sync or I have to refresh it manually. It’s not a major problem, but when things are busy it gets a little frustrating. I’m assuming other sellers have probably noticed that too?

"Inventory is finally under control"
ShipStation has made it way easier for me to keep stock levels in one place and avoid overselling items, which used to be such a headache. Updating inventory is straightforward, and I can quickly see what’s running low. My only annoyance is that some of the communication around settings and updates could be clearer, because I’ve had to dig around a bit to figure things out. Still, it saves me a lot of small frustrations every week.

I’ve been using ShipStation for a while now, and the billing is one thing I don’t have to complain about every week. I usually complain about hidden fees, confusing charges, random add-ons, all of that stuff, but so far this has been easy to follow. The charges show up the way I expect, I can see what plan I’m on without hunting around, and I’m not sitting there wondering why the bill changed again. No weird surprise fees so far, which is a big deal because surprise fees drive me nuts. It just makes running labels every week less stressful.

Setup was simple for me, and making labels felt straightforward. I don’t think there’s much of a learning curve, at least from what I’ve used so far. It just seems easy to figure out without needing to spend a ton of time on it.

I’ve been shipping my orders in batches now, and it’s really so much faster. There’s way less clicking, I’m making fewer mistakes, and overall I’m happy with it.

"Clean interface, though I’m picky about a few things"
I’ve been using shipstation for a few months now, and overall I like it. I’m kind of biased toward tools with clean dashboards, so the fact that I can usually find orders, labels, and batches without hunting around is a big plus for me.
That said, a few areas feel a little clunky. Setting up rules or filters took some trial and error, and some screens feel more crowded than they probably need to be. I’m not the most patient person with confusing menus, so that stood out to me.
Still, it’s been solid and easy to learn. I’d recommend it, but I do wish a few buttons and options were more obvious right from the start.

shipstation has definitely made international orders way easier for my small shop. Like, without a doubt, the customs forms are a million times less annoying now, and the rates pop up quickly. Every once in a while the labels take a minute to load, or I have to go back and double check a setting, but overall it’s been super reliable. I’m convinced it’s one of the best tools I’ve added for shipping overseas.

"mobile app is handy for quick shipping stuff"
i still use shipstation on my computer most of the time, but the mobile app has been useful when i’m not at my desk. i can check orders, print labels, and see what’s already shipped without having to search around too much.
it’s not perfect, since it can load a little slow sometimes and some settings are just easier to deal with on desktop. but for quick updates and basic shipping tasks, it gets the job done. i’d give it 4 stars.
